1. What cookies are

A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your device when you visit it. It allows information about your visit to be remembered, such as your preferred language or your browsing preferences.

We use the term “cookies” broadly, including other storage technologies with equivalent functionality, such as browser local storage.

2. Who places the cookies

• First-party cookies: placed by DIGIRENT SOLUTIONS, S.L. (Tax ID B22547483) from the easyrent.es domain.
• Third-party cookies: placed by external providers whose services we use.

3. Cookies used by easyrent.es

easyrent.es uses only technical or strictly necessary cookies. We do not use analytics, advertising or profiling cookies. We have no Google Analytics, no social media pixels and no third-party tracking tools installed.

Technical cookies are exempt from the requirement to obtain prior consent under Article 22.2 of Spanish Law 34/2002 (LSSI-CE), as they are essential for the provision of the service.

3.1 Technical cookies

Stripe’s cookies are considered technical, as they are necessary for the provision of the payment service requested by the user and for compliance with the security and fraud prevention obligations arising from payment services legislation.

4. Embedded third-party content

Some pages incorporate content hosted by third parties which, when loaded, could allow those third parties to collect information about your browsing.

Some embedded content, such as the OpenStreetMap map on the contact page, loads automatically but sets no cookies and is not used for tracking. Other third-party content that could set cookies, such as the YouTube video, does not load automatically: a static preview is shown and the content only loads if you expressly click on it. That click constitutes your consent to the resource being loaded.

The map sets no cookies. As for the YouTube video, no cookies are placed unless you click.

5. Managing cookies through your browser

Although the cookies we use are technical and necessary, you can configure or delete them through your browser settings. Please note that disabling all cookies may affect the proper functioning of the Website.

6. International transfers

Some of our infrastructure providers (Vercel, Supabase, Stripe) and the embedded content services (Google) are linked to entities located outside the European Economic Area.

Such transfers are made under European Commission adequacy decisions or by means of Standard Contractual Clauses, with any additional safeguards required. You may request further information by writing to info@easyrent.es.

7. Personal data and rights

The processing of personal data obtained through cookies is governed by our Privacy Policy, where you will find information about the data controller and how to exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability, as well as your right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency.

8. Updates

This document is a translation of the Spanish original. In the event of any discrepancy between the two versions, the Spanish version shall prevail.
